The miniaturized feature allows these units to be installed in electrical outlet boxes for remote control of electrical appliances.

The Remote Control Module, Model RX-RCM, is a low cost Miniaturized Powerline Carrier Receiver Module that provides a set of isolated relay contacts (Form C, NO, C, NC) rated at 10 amps, 120VAC, that switch when the unit is activated. It receives its turn-ON commands over the electrical power wiring from remote Transmitters.

This module , which is designed for hard wire applications, is encased in a rock hard epoxy compound. It measures 2.4 inches by 2 inches by 0.75 inches, and weighs less than 6 oz. It comes with 2-sided tape on the bottom for quick and easy installation.

The electrical connections are made via 5 leads, two for direction connection to the 120V AC power, and three for the relay output connections.

The Remote Control Module, Model RX-RCM, has a DIP switch that used to select the code to be monitored. It will only respond to those Transmitters whose code setting match its own. All other Transmitters signals will be ignored.

This unit will monitor as many Transmitters as you like as long as they all have the same code setting.
