The Plug-in feature of the Remote Alarm Module, Model RX-RAM, allows it to be plugged into any electrical outlet and provide a HOT (120V AC) socket in response to the Transmitter signal.

Some examples of applications are listed below.

• Use to sound a Horn
• Use to activate a Siren
• Use to turn ON floodlights

The Model RX-RAM, Remote Alarm Module, is a low cost, plug-in Powerline Carrier Receiver Module that provides an AC Socket that switches ON (120V AC, 600 watts maximum) when activated. It plugs directly into the 120V AC outlet, and receives its turn-On commands over the existing AC power wiring from remote Powerline carrier Transmitters. No other wiring is required.

The Model RX-RAM, Remote Alarm Module, has a DIP switch that is used to select the code to be monitored. It will only respond to those transmitters whose code setting match its own. All other transmitter signals will be ignored.

With this unit you can monitor as many transmitters as you like as long as they all have the same code setting.
