Transmitter w/DC Voltage Output   Model TX-PS1   | Pricing |

PS1

Features:

  • Plug-In Installation
  • No New Wiring, uses existing Electrical Power Wiring for Signal Transmission
  • Provides +12V DC, 100ma, to power Detector
  • Provides Transmitter Identification via Code Selection (DIP Switch)
  • Works with all CEPCO Receivers, Monitors, and Display Panels

The DC voltage output feature allows the Model TX-PS1 to supply the input power required by such devices as PIR Detectors, Motion Detectors, Shock Detectors, Glass Break Detectors, Audio Detectors, RF Receivers, etc.

Some examples of system applications are listed below.

  • Monitoring and Reporting of Emergencies with Medallion RF Transmitters
  • Security monitoring
  • Stake-out and Surveillance monitoring
  • Buddy system hook-up for neighboring houses
  • Unauthorized entry monitoring
  • Hazard Detector monitoring
DESCRIPTION

The Model TX-PS1, Transmitter with DC Voltage Output is a low cost, plug-in Powerline Carrier Transmitter, with a DC voltage output that can be used to power a detector or other device that is to be monitored by the transmitter. The transmitter operates over the existing AC power wiring to the Receivers or Display Panels that identifies the location of the Transmitter. Each unit contains a DIP switch for coding. Click on Coding

The signal from these transmitters can be monitored at remote locations, using any number of a variety of plug-in Receiver Modules and/or Display Panels.

This unit plugs directly into the 120V AC power outlet and has three (3) terminals connections: DC output; Trigger input; and Common. All are isolated from the 120V AC power. The DC output terminal supplies a regulated +12V DC, at 100 MA max, that is intended to supply power for the detector or other device that triggers the transmitter. The trigger-input terminal is for transmitter activation (12V DC). The Common terminal is the return for both the DC voltage output and the trigger-input circuits.

The Schematic Diagram of the Model TX-PS1 is shown below.
