DESCRIPTION

The Model TX-BUG3, Plug-in Transmitter, is a low cost, plug-in Powerline Carrier Transmitter that can be used to monitor detectors or other devices, and transmit this information over the existing AC power wiring to the Receivers or Display Panels that identifies the location of the Transmitter.

The signal from these transmitters can be monitored at remote locations, using any number of a variety of plug-in receiver modules and/or display panels. Each unit contains a DIP switch for coding. Click on Coding

These units plug directly into the 120V AC power outlets and have two terminals for input trigger connections that are isolated from the AC power input.

These units are contained in a 2 inches x 3 inches x 2 inches package molded of a tough, fire retardant thermoplastic. It has a 2-pole plug that plugs into one socket of a standard duplex wall socket, leaving the other socket clear for other uses. An integral hold down tab is included for use in securing the unit in place with the wall socket cover mounting screw.

The Model TX-BUG3 is available in three trigger options. The Model TX-BUG3(NO), normally open which triggers when the input terminal are shorted together. The Model TX-BUG3(NC), normally closed, which triggers when the input is opened. And the Model TX-BUG3(DC), which triggers when a voltage is applied (AC or DC, 6 to 24V).
