To build an effective low cost Vending Machine anti-theft, anti-vandalism, and anti-tamper alarm for all vending machines that are plugged into a power outlet, use Cepco's Powerline Carrier Modules.

Install a Thiefbug , Model TX-BUG1 to detect when the vending machine is disconnected from the power outlet, and a Miniature Transmitter , Model TX-BUG2(NO) connected to a tilt switch mounted in the vending machine, to detect any vandalism or tampering.

Local Alarm to Scare Off Perpetrators

For a local alarm to scare the thieves or vandals away, a Remote Alarm Module Model RX-RAM, mounted locally with a Siren, in and alarm box, sounds the Siren when any theft or vandalism is attempted.

Silent Alarm Delivered via Pager

You can add a Silent paging feature to the system so that an alarm will deliver a message to you via alpha pager should any theft or vandalism be attempted. A Cepco Contact Closure Module, Model RX-CCO is plugged in and wired to trigger an AlphaSense, Model AS100-08. The AlphaSence will forward a user inserted message to any number (inserted by the user) in the event of theft or vandalism.
